2021.09.19 15:24 pbsSD Motherboard recommends for a system running 2x 3060Ti?

Building a system for gaming and some mining.
Is there a good motherboard that would support adding a second card in the future? Prefer AMD but not crucial.
Also a PSU rec that has 2 of the 8pin connectors if anyone happens to know.
For case going with the Phanteks Eclipse P300A.

2021.09.19 15:24 FlaXxo F1 2021 Samsung Odyssey G9

I´m thinking about getting a Samsung Odyssey G9 as Update for my Simrig. The Thing is, im playing F1 2021 on my PS5 since all my Friends play on that Platform. Anyone got experience using the G9 on the Ps5 Version of Formula 1 2021? Is it worth? Dont want to spend much money and then for example the Fov is terrible on Ps5 or it just looks like shit on it :D
Thanks for your help.

2021.09.19 15:24 RubDub4 Is there a course that will teach me to build a portfolio and help break into the field?

I’m an MA in Psychology with a thesis in Human Factors. I’ve read The Design of Everyday Things, I’ve taken online moocs on Product Design and HCI.
I thought this would be enough education to get an interview for associate/entry UX research positions but I’ve applied to a couple dozen over the years with no luck.
I’m guessing the last thing that’s missing is a real portfolio, so are there any good courses that will guide me through that process? I’m willing to pay for a good course but I definitely can’t afford those boot camps that go for several thousand dollars.

2021.09.19 15:24 LonelySavage JavaScript in Laravel Packages

I’m working on a Laravel package that would help people create graphics (graphs and charts) from data in Laravel models, and ran into something I haven’t been able to fully work out yet, so I’m wondering if anybody has any ideas for ways of doing this.
Basically, my packge depends on a JavaScript file that I would like to automatically be included in whatever build process people have for their JS/CSS pipeline, but I can’t think of a good way to automatically inject something in there - especially if people roll their own solutions with Webpack instead of relying on Mix etc.
Any thoughts?

2021.09.19 15:24 Gar33b From Silver 2 to Gold Nova 1 in 3 weeks. Tips that I believe helped me to rank up the Silver level

Hello guys, I have CS:GO in my steam library from long time ago, but never really played it seriously. ~3 weeks ago I was bored from playing WoW and I've decided to start playing something else, in this case CS:GO was my choice.
I have 280 hours play time according to steam, but probably at least half of it was back when I've initially bought it around 2014, so it is not that much. Initially I've calibrated in Silver 2, but now I am Gold Nova 1, which still below the average player, but I've seen people struggle to escape Silver, so I've decided to write this, maybe it will help somebody. On average I play 2-4 MM games per day.
Here are the main things that I believe were useful for me to rank up: 1. Play with voice sound on. Share every info you have for the enemies with your teammates and ask them to do the same. Even if you can't properly aim or spray, many times just outplaying the enemy with a better position will win you the round. 2. Be positive with your teammates, don't flame them, don't troll and if somebody else is doing this, kindly ask them to stop, and play seriously in order to win the game. 3. In Silver if you manage to understand the enemy what they feel comfortable doing almost every round and find a way to counter it by positioning yourself properly will bring you a win. In this player pool, players rarely come up with brand new strats every new round. 4. If you manage to dominate the enemy team for a couple of rounds in row, do not relax yourself, keep playing the same - most likely the enemy is getting tilted and they will do even more mistakes, which you can use against them. 5. Always check the radar and know where your teammates are. This way you can try to cover some area which is not already, and if something happens (e.g. your teammates die or kill) you will easily know where is at least one enemy. I think this is especially useful, if there is no voice communication in your team for the given game. 6. When you die, always tell your team where and maybe how you died, did you manage to put some big damage to the enemy that killed you, maybe he is 1 HP :)

Now here are tips which are more or less technical or related to aim skills, and how to win against your enemies: 1. Train at least your AK47/M4 sprays on one of the community spray control training maps. 2. Train your aim on aim maps. 3. Do you feel comfortable the way you handle your keyboard/mouse or the way you sit and look at the monitor? Do you think you can react even faster if you feel even more comfortable? - Invest some time to adjust your physical position on the PC. A couple of days ago I've rearranged where my keyboard and mouse is and how far my monitor is. I think I can react faster now when I spot an enemy for a duel. It's no secret this is important if you look how PRO CS:GO players sit in front of their PCs. 4. I've found some not so famous(~30-100 viewers) twitch streamers which are Level 10 in FaceIT. I think watching them how play really gave me knowledge about different map approaches, tricks, etc. I am mentioning the low viewer count, because in this case you can easily ask them something in the chat and most likely they will be happy to explain you, because the chat is not spammed with some crap.

I believe big part of these tips will be helpful for me to keep ranking up in the Gold Nova level. If any day I escape the Gold Nova level and this post was useful to a handful of people, I'd be happy to share again my experience, but the road to next rank just starts for me :)
Feel free to ask my anything if you're interested to know, I'd be happy to answer.
And I want to repeat again the 2 most important things for getting a rank up: Always share information with your teammates and try to force positivity in your team.
