2022.01.21 09:28 axolotl-anxiety A Type-Me questionnaire...Please type me :3

I am 21. Female.

Nah I'm good

Yeah, my mom is most probably an ESFJ and she made sure I learned to live in a large family, and get along with everyone, sacrificing my own needs. I eventually started feeling annoyed by this pattern of behavior but I guess it left a mark.

I am studying to be a doctor. I kinda like learning the tidbits about the human body but the stress sometimes gets to me.

I would feel refreshed if I got a chance to be outdoors in a scenic location all alone. It would be quite refreshing, but I guess at the end of the day I might crave some close company, but not an entire party.

I mostly stay at home because I get homesick easily, I binge watch a comfort movie and eat my favorite food or read. But I adore nature and being in it, away from the hubbubs of the city. I like physical activity too, it gets me off my overthinking mind. A picnic by a lake or an amusement park where there are loads of fun competitive games would be an awesome way to spend time outdoors.

I am curious, but not too much, I am too preoccupied with the tasks that need to be finished. If I have ideas, I usually execute them, they are not too overwhelming. My ideas are usually about how I can increase the quality of my life or others life, they are not too existential or intuitive. SOmetimes I also get ideas about how things could be better.

I would not particularly enjoy it, but sometimes I take up such positions in various situations if I believe no other person is capable of arranging everything the way I want to. My leadership style is not too cruel or strict, I explain what others need to do and why they need to work exactly the way I tell them, to prevent any disastrous outcome. I can be persuasive when I really care about the situation I guess...but I can get really passive and introverted if people get too defensive about following my orders, and go easy on them.

I love hands-on activity. It's like I work on default based on muscle memory alone. It relaxes me too, for example, I like the laboratory work in my med school, cleaning my room, pottery making or origami etc.

I would believe I have an artistic flair but I am not exactly talented or extraordinary. I like singing and I used to write short novels when I was younger, for fun. I like appreciating art, especially in movies and books because it has a storyline I can empathize with, and makes the art close to my own experience. I really don't get paintings because I don't find depth in them as I find in movies.

I used to help people without thinking but I stopped that after betrayals. I try to help them because I hate being termed as selfish. I am too conscious of what others think of me, and often I go out of my way to keep my promises. I am well known for my loyalty. But recently I started setting boundaries. I feel guilty and wrong for doing it but I know it will help me, and prevent others from taking me for granted. I am nice first and rude later.

Yes. It keeps things making sense to me, and I need that to stay sane lol.

I do control them, it is easier to control when you know they love you. I might do it by warning them what would happen if they do not take my advice, I usually control them for their own good and if they keep making bad decisions. I rarely do it out of malicious intent.

I think about my past, what mistakes I made and what it taught me. I would overthink my traumas and betrayals. Eventually, I would start thinking about how to escape this blank empty room.

I take a loooooong time to make decision, stressing and thinking over and over all the possible scenarios, but once I make the decision I usually stand by it.

Yes very very often. I just don't like confrontation and the discomfort that follows. But If it is something I deeply care about I might go out of my way to defend it, it usually occurs when I bottle up my emotion for too long and they come out all at once as a confrontation or anger.

I follow rules when I agree with it, and if I don't agree with the rules I still follow through it to avoid repercussions. I do not break rules unless I feel following the rule undermines my respect, or harms me in any way. Some authorities actually do not know any better...but following through doesn't hurt. But I do bitch internally about it afterward.

2022.01.21 09:28 fourtmac Ghosted and banned while still holding $1490 of my money

I’ve been selling profitable businesses on Flippa for 6 months now under the name of Fourtmac with only 100% positive reviews and I’ve started my run on Flippa with an immediate ban of my account as it was associated with my friend's account who brought me to the platform but the issue was resolved. My friend also allowed me to use his bank account details to receive payments as Escrow has a really poor selection of what they accept. This was known for both Flippa and Escrow.
About 2 weeks ago my friend got banned from the platform so I immediately contacted Flippa as I know about their horrible ways of dealing with sellers to help me change my payment info from my friend's payment details but straight up no answer for 7 days (this is what you can expect) so I went to Escrow, told them the current situation and they said they will contact Flippa to figure it out.
Well, their solution was to ban me from both Flippa and Escrow with my $490 invested inside Flippa and with my pending funds of $1000 from an earlier sale which I guess will be also stolen as well.
Used to like this platform and selling on it was seamless but the customer service, well let's just say not up to date with the current 2022 standards. If you are planning on being a long-term seller on the platform you better hurry and find yourself a person on the inside who can vouch for you otherwise you'll be thrown out like a dog and ghosted when they feel like it.

2022.01.21 09:28 AIntrigue Belgian/EU fans interested in the official RTJ puzzle?

I recently bought the RTJ puzzle from the website, only to discover at Christmas that I got gifted the same puzzle :) good fun, but now I have an extra puzzle lying around for which I have no use. Seeing as sending it back would cost me tremendous amounts in shipping fees alone, I was wondering if anyone here was interested in buying it from me? It's still in original package, wrapped in plastic and all. Price negotiable, depending on shipping fees etc.
